Chairman of PRC Denies Responsibility for Killing Mousa Arafat

At 2100hrs Jamal Alaya Abu Samhadana, Chairman of the Popular Resistance Committees, denied responsibility for the killing of Mousa Arafat and the kidnapping of his son Manhal Arafat. He stated that the PA Security Forces had been behind the attack.

Synagogues issues

Defence Minister Mofaz has reported that the withdrawal may be delayed by one day due to continuing uncertainty over synagogues. Neither the Israelis or the PA wish to take responsibility for demolishing the synagogues.

Anti-tank missile fired in northern Gaza

At 1.50 pm an anti-tank missile was fired at Israeli forces in northern Gaza.

Funeral of Mousa Arafat

Mousa Arafat's funeral will take place after Friday prayers. The funeral cortege will move from the presidential mosque via Al Talatini street and Saraya street to Sheikh Radwan cemetry.

Manhal Arafat, the son of the late Mousa Arafat was released by his kidnappers in the early hours of this morning.

Erez Industrial Zone

Seven explosions were heard from 7 am around the area of Erez industrial zone. The explosions are believed to be demolitions in relation to the relocation of the Erez terminal.
