Fatah (Al Aqsa Bdes) block Salah Ed Din Road

The Fatah militants the Al Aqsa Martyrs Bde blocked the Salah Ed Din Road junction at the entrance to Jabalia Camp to demand jobs in the PA. They burned tyres and there was heavy shooting in the air.

Abu Rish, Al Aqsa Bdes and Fatah Falcons unite in Khan Yunis

The Fatah militant organisations in Khan Yunis, Abu Rish, Fatah Falcons and Al Aqsa Martyrs Bdes, announced that they had untied into one organisation under the direction of Fatah.

Kidnapping of Journalist

An Italian Journalist was kidnapped in Deir El Balah at about 1815hrs and released around 2015hrs. It is belived that Fatah members (Al Aqsa Martyrs Bde) were responsible.

Demonstration in Gaza

1035hrs about 300 Palestinian farmers demonstrated in front of the PLC demanding that the PA reconstruct their agricultured lands. Also in front of the UNSCO Office in Gaza the farmers demonstrated asking for help from the international community. At 1115hrs those at the PLC arrived at the UNSCO Office, the number of demonstrators reached 500.

Egyptian Forces Arrive in Rafah Sinai

Egyptian Forces, who are to take over the Philadelphi Line on the Rafah/Egypt border, arrived in the area.

Coastal Road Blocked by Al Aqsa Bdes

At 0815hrs, members of Al-Aqsa martyrs brigades gathered at the coastal road. They are preventing the PA cars from moving and are asking for jobs.

Fire from IDF Tanks

At 2100hrs, the IDF tanks stationed at Abu Houli opened fire targeting a old man who was trying to approach the junction. They fired some flare lights and HMG. At 2115hrs a Palestinian ambulance entered Abu Houli junction to collect the seriously injured Hany Abu Sawaween. However, an Israeli ambulance took him to an Israeli hospital.
