According to Haaretz, Palestinian National Security Adviser Jibril Rajoub has stated that the Rafah border will reopen this Friday and Saturday for students, Gazans with overseas residence, medical and special needs cases.
The Palestinian Ministry of Civil Affairs (MoCA) is reporting via its website that an agreement has now been reached between the PA and the Israelis to allow up to 50 people a day to leave Gaza for Jordan given the official closure of the Rafah border since 7 September.
The 50 persons will comprise students, Gazans with overseas residency and humanitarian cases. The IDF will provide buses between Erez and Allenby Bridge. This agreement came into effect from today.
